SUBAK SARI

Subak Sari is a four-bedroom private house located in Tibubeneng, Bali. Designed in 2021, the project combines contemporary architecture with tropical elements through bold rooflines, warm timber cladding, black structural frames, and wide glass openings.

Set on a 208 m² plot with a 305 m² building size, the house uses a two-storey layout to create generous living spaces within a compact site. The design includes open communal areas, bright bedrooms, a private swimming pool, and strong connections between the interior and outdoor spaces.

Subak Sari carries a contemporary tropical design language with clean geometric forms and an asymmetrical sloped roof. White surfaces, black metal framing, timber cladding, and floor-to-ceiling glass create a balanced architectural identity that feels modern, warm, and distinctive.

SUBAK SARI

The house feels open and spacious, with large windows bringing natural light into both levels. Double-height areas, transparent façades, and an open staircase strengthen the sense of volume while allowing different parts of the home to remain visually connected.

The layout is designed to support comfortable family living and relaxed gatherings. The main living, dining, and kitchen spaces open toward the swimming pool, while the bedrooms are positioned upstairs for greater privacy and views of the surrounding greenery.

The interior concept of Subak Sari focuses on brightness, simplicity, and refined comfort. The living, dining, and kitchen areas are arranged within an open-plan layout, creating an easy flow for everyday activities and social occasions.

White surfaces, light wood finishes, marble details, black structural elements, and subtle brass accents create a clean yet inviting atmosphere. The kitchen features a large marble island, integrated cabinetry, and pendant lighting, while the black floating staircase adds a bold architectural feature to the central space.

The bedrooms follow a soft neutral palette with full-height curtains, warm timber flooring, and simple contemporary furniture. Marble bathrooms, slim black-framed shower screens, circular mirrors, and understated metallic fixtures continue the refined material language throughout the house.
