MAISON

Maison is a five-bedroom private house located in Kaba-Kaba, Bali. Designed in 2021, the project presents a contemporary tropical concept that combines clean modern forms, natural stone, warm timber details, and wide glass openings.

Set on a 1,180 m² plot with a 351.8 m² building size, the house uses its generous site to create spacious interiors, landscaped gardens, private outdoor areas, and a large swimming pool. The two-storey layout is designed for comfortable family living, with open communal spaces and bedrooms positioned to enjoy privacy, natural light, and surrounding views.

Maison carries a contemporary tropical design language with strong horizontal rooflines, black structural frames, natural stone walls, timber screens, and floor-to-ceiling glass. The combination of solid architectural forms and warm natural materials gives the house a refined yet relaxed character.

MAISON

The house feels open and connected to its landscape, with large windows and sliding glass doors bringing natural light into both floors. The main façade presents a more private appearance, while the rear opens widely toward the swimming pool, garden, and surrounding greenery.

The layout supports both family life and social gatherings. The living, dining, and kitchen areas flow naturally into one another and open toward the outdoor terrace. Upper-level bedrooms include private balconies, while additional rooms provide flexible space for working, reading, music, or quiet relaxation.

The interior concept of Maison focuses on warmth, openness, and natural comfort. The living and dining areas feature soft neutral furniture, timber finishes, woven details, and dark stone flooring, creating a calm atmosphere with a strong tropical character.

The kitchen combines timber cabinetry with a large stone island and open shelving, providing a practical space for cooking and casual dining. Rattan pendant lights, wooden furniture, and natural textures add warmth throughout the communal areas.

Bedrooms and private rooms continue the same relaxed material palette, with timber flooring, built-in cabinetry, soft fabrics, and large glass doors opening toward balconies or landscape views. The bathrooms use stone surfaces, black fixtures, timber vanities, circular mirrors, and freestanding bathtubs to create a refined, spa-like environment.
